Open minds and softened hearts

     I believe the last time I was even on Tumblr, I was having thoughts of my passing summer.. if not I apologize.

     Last night I went to the football game at my former school from sixth grade to last year. I had an incredible time! I got to see so many people I missed and love so much. I was so glad to see Trent, and he was excited to see me! He kept picking me up and hugging me! Awe, I miss him. Kelli looked so cute walking up and down the field taking shots for the school newspaper. Ms. Todhunter (I will never meet anyone like her, she is so real) and I talked for a good while, which was really nice. I did get head butted by Dalton! It hurt so bad!!!! ugh! :P And Emily, Elli, and I chowed down on some baked good (my favorite being the peanut butter cupcakes!)! :) Afterwards I babysat at Tyson’s house for his little sister. So I did get to hangout with him! :)

     School so far at East, is good. Not as great as I thought. I love the arts, how I am being challenged academically, and the open lunch. :p My friendships though, do not even compair to the ones in Sedgwick. Not at all. Even the friends I made from East before I attended the school, aren’t like they use to be. There is just too much chaos at school to get a chance to know eachother. I may just be scared from not being use to the differenciation. I mean, there are perks! This kid Dean, I could see myself becoming good friends with him. He’s so sweet. By the second week of school, Madz (a foreign exchange kid from Denmark) and I hung out at the local art crawl. He’s really fun! We liked eachother until this week, he is a little too forward for me. I mean this because he seems to have no boundary lines. As a friend, I think he’ll be plenty of fun to be around! Hopefully my church will be something he likes Wednesday. There is another girl I am slowly becoming friends with, Tanya. She’s another foreign exchange student from Russia. Minkang and I are pretty much inseperatable. I love him! So I guess it’s not so bad. My grades have slipped a little, but I get them where I would like them to be by second semester. The only awkward place is cross country….. ehhhhh. Not the running part, but the actual sociallizing part. They can be very “clicky”.

       God’s good though. He keeps me together, even when I feel so out of sorts.
